30-second film festival
Hi! For my birthday, I am putting together a variety show full of my favorite people doing wonderful things. If you are an actor/director/writer/comedian/person, I want to see you finish a short film. That would be a huge gift to me! So please consider submitting to my 30-second film festival!
All you need to do is make a short film that is 30 seconds long. Really go for it, for a very short period of time. Tell us a story.

We will have (tiny) prizes in four categories:
Drama (or melodrama)
Comedy (make us laugh)
Audience Favorite
Trans people are hot (It is my belief that there is not enough content about how hot trans people are. Please consider including this in your film.)
Your film must be:
As close to 30 seconds as possible. Ideally, exactly 30 seconds, with no more than 10 seconds of credits.

Just to make this clear - there is no cost involved in this situation.

Need help finding people to work with? Want to write something, and find actors? Want to act, but need a film to be in? Want to make music or animate something? Add yourself to this spreadsheet. Then reach out to other folks, meet up, and make a film!
2. Register for the fest
Gonna make something? Just let me know! (this is also how you can get free tickets to the screening. I don’t want you to pay for the screening!)
This step is optional but it will help me know how many people are participating.
3. Submit your FINISHED film
Your film can truly, and I mean this - be anything. I just want you to make something you’re proud of!
